A/C Eliminator bracket

I want to know which is best for eliminating my a/c unit, should I get just an eliminator bracket w/ pulley or should I get a non-a/c power steering bracket. I with the a/c eliminator you would keep the same length belt and with the non-a/c power steering bracket you would get a smaller belt, which is better, pros cons? Longer or shorter belt?

Thanks

The goal is to eliminate stuff and clean up the engine bay.

Also, less pulleys means less chance of something breaking on you.

Get the Ford Racing kit, which is basically the non-a/c accessory brackets

Word. That's the one I've got on my Capri. As soon as I can afford it, I'm replacing the A/C eliminator kit on my Notch with the Ford Racing one.

I'm a HUGE fan of the Trickflow setup. Cheap, $35, and takes brackets away instead of adding new bulky brackets like the Ford Racing setup. Looks a ton cleaner too IMO.

IMHO, the cleanest way is the OEM way. The FMS kit includes a cast aluminum (lightweight) bracket that simply re-locates the power steering pump to the spot the a/c condenser once resided. This is the same bracket used on the factory a/c delete cars…so in theory, if you could find one in a junk yard you could pull it off an use it.

Every other kit I've seen not only ad's extra brackets (quite often steel), but also ad's extra idler pulleys which again…IMHO look tacky and out of place.
