any one do a v mount setup

wow i havnt been around sorry this happen. didnt think asking this would cause problems. the reason where going with the v mount setup is cause the way the capri bumper is. its not a true v mount setup, the inter cool will be angled but the rad will be up right. when we where doing mock up we realized the inter cooler is a perfect fit, at a angle getting plenty of fresh air from the openings in the bottom of the bumper. and it would be real easy to make the ducting for it. as for the intercooler piping comment i made, the end tank pipes wind up being in the perfect spots so well have really short pipes from turbo to inter cooler and throttle body to intercooler. i just wanted to know if any one has done this.

i have nothing against stinger so stinger i hope this didnt offend you, i didn say any thing about your products. me and my buddy got a inter cooler for free othere wise we where going to use your products.

to those who care check out the pics in the link they follow our year long build on the 84 rs turbo capri. we still have a lot more to do.

why has it taken a year to get this car to the point it is. simple 2 22 year olds that dont have money to burn and we want to do it right the first time. a car that had no floor more or less and my buddy started working nights so that leaves us with 5 hours a week to work on it now.

stinger i have a question for you since you seem to know alot, heck my buddy bought our mani from you lol.

i allso own a 80 rx7 . iam PP porting it which wount make any sense to you but you still can answer my question. iam going to be turboing it this winter. i just need to boost prep the carb................... any ways i have only 6 feet of ic piping and pp ported wankles have a VE of 110% stock ports have 85% bridge ports have roughly 95% since my VE should be 110% (yes i know it doesnt make sense but its true)

iam useing 2.5 inches inside pipe for the ic tubes and your inter cooler. how long would it take to fill the tubes at 3000rpm my motor is a 1.15 but really a 2.3(again its a rotary thing)

Man those are good pics looks like you are walking the fine line of doing it right and having fun at the same time. It already looks like a totaly new ride. Keep up the good work and a year is not that long remember a real hot rod is NEVER done

we are having fun 90% of the time lol.
Friday we started making the custom upper intake for the car, we deiced to not use a gutted stock 90 deg. where just making a riser and having the throttle body bolted to it. where going to see how it works out. the worse that will happen is we go with a gutted upper down the road.
