I put in JBA long tube headers. The outlet on one was too big. It was tough getting the passenger side though the opening. Passenger side, right by the 4:1 collection point, it rattled against the frame of the car. I told JBA. I was told I could send it back. What? Take it back out and send it back? Nope. The tech guy said I could bend it away without too much trouble. Nope, wouldn't budge. I tried two racheting straps- nope. I took it to Midas. They bent and shortened the hangar and got it out of the way of the channel on the frame. Cost was $32. I sent the bill and asked JBA to pay, but got no response.

They work fine, but a trip to Midas to expand the mid-pipe, then another trip to fix their blunder.

I've also got JBA long tubes and they installed and work without a hitch. I have put JBA products on the two mustangs I've owned and had great luck and quality with their products. The customer service was great too I had problems hanging my first set of exhaust and their tech spent a lot of time helping me out with it.:

I've got a buddy with a 2004+ F150 5.4L who also lost power, every where on the power band, with a set of JBA shorties. :notnice:

Yea i talked to a local mustang performance shop owner here and he told me that when i was actually considering LT's for my '197. Ive heard this from more than 1 source but these stock manifolds arent that bad and LT's arent that big of an upgrade like they were on previous mustangs...
