clutch pedal assembly

pretty sure any 79-93 will do for sure. just make sure you get a pedal assembly from a 5.0 car. the clutch quadrant arm on a 4cyl assembly is a lot shorter.

:nice: .... and before you begin make sure you are very relaxed and not stressed from anything else... cause soon as you start you will be pulling your hair and ready to throw the car off a cliff or something haha

This is the truth. Doing the pedal box on mine was by far the most difficult and time consuming part of the swap. :nonono:

When I did mine, I replaced the plastic bushings on the pedals. Not sure if they are still serviced by Ford as my car was done 13 years ago. New bushings and synthetic grease and have had no issues. I also reused the AOD brake pedal as it's larger than the T-5's. Works great.

A friend of mine converted an aod cobra replica to a t-5 with out changing the pedals. He swapped in a stand alone clutch pedal with a hydraulic cylinder an hydraulic throw out bearing.

interesting...I think I'll just stick with the good ol' OEM on this one. I gots step by step instructions with pictures and everything from another website for the assy swap.
