What's the best Roller Rockers to buy ?

342 cid, 302 based stroker. AFR 185 heads with a comp cams XE274 HR hydraulic roller cam. Looking for advice on whats the best 1.6 ratio roller rockers to buy for this setup please. The engine came with Crane roller rockers, but I'm looking to buy higher spec roller rockers if they are available. Car is 95% street use, with the occasional drag race thrown in.

thanks

I've had my crane gold's for about 6 yrs now. No issues at all. Last season they were on my car at the drags spinning to about 7600 on a solid roller. This yr hopefully they will do the same at 8200-8300. lol I do have a stud girdle, but plan on the next upgrade being some Probe Shaft rockers.

I have Comp Cams Pro-Magnum because I dont like the idea of having Aluminum (which fatigues much more than steel) in my daily-driver valvetrain. They cost about $280 from Summit, and come in 3/8 or 7/16 stud.

On the other hand, I know the aluminum rockers are commonly used, and I havent heard of them just breaking in half.

Just make sure whatever you get it designed for your head (stud mount or pedastal mount) and valves (aligned by pushrod guide or aligned by valve tip). and lastly, make sure you have clearance with your valve covers.

He has a Hyd Roller. I highly doubt he would ever break an aluminum rocker unless it was some pos brand. Look at most the shaft rockers that support some insane rpm's, made of alum.

as long as you stick to name brands, crane, crower, comp cams, sig erson, any aluminum rockers are as good as another. also you need to stick to proper usage as well, race rockers work great on a street engine, but street rockers will break on a race engine.
