Well ive decided to relocate my engine harness and wiring behind the dash board and i have a few questions. I no longer have cruise control so do i need to keep the connectors pluged into the speed control amplifier? I know that the VSS sends a signal there but if i toss the amplifier will my ECU still recieve the proper signal from the VSS? Next question my A/C and smog is all gone so with the A/C gone do i still need the WOT relay? From my understanding this relay is to signal the a/c fan clutch to dissengage when at WOT. Is that its only purpose? Ok and one last question. For a couple years now ive been using a wire to jump from the ignition to the red/green wire that allows the fuel pump to prime and ignition to go hot. Well with the dash currently out i was able to locate the bad fuse link in the red/green wire. Its says its a 20 gauge wire. What is the best way to repair this? Can i use a maxi fuse? What kind of amperage does this wire pull?

Please help.

you can buy a roll of fuse link wire, 20 gauge is gray. I got it at napa. my same link went in my car, fuel pump and ign. I just used butt conectors to install and cut out the burnt one.

Thanks for the reply.

Does anyone know if i can eliminate the thermister air diverter and bypass solenoids with out affecting performance? these are the solenoids on the passenger fender apron. I will still keep the egr plumbed and hooked up.

Thanks
