Currently have dumps and I am getting tired of the booming. Should I

1) keep the exhaust hidden,
2) Bring tips (3" slant) out under tail panel, or
3) cut out the tail panel and run the tips under that?

I vote for under the valance panel with no trimming.

I don't think that looks good. I do like it on the 67-68 with the factory valance though.

Since you dont have the bumperettes anyway, You could go with the GT valance. If you don't like them hanging down this is the way to do it and would compliment your car very well.

Here is mine with 3 inch stainless slant cut tips under the valance.

Through the rear valance, it's so much better :nice:

Here's a video of mine.

If the fact that your valance is fully molded in is the reason you won't go through it, then why would you notch it either.

What do you think you'll go with, under or tucked up and hidden?

I could trim it with a sheer or the like but, I will probably just keep the tips tucked up in the corners where you can barely see the turn downs.

I just dont want to take and cut a big ole hole in the middle of my panel.
