2.3,3.8...neither one of these is a 5.0

id try posting this in v6 tech or 2.3 tech...but id also recommend not wasting your time putting a v6 in a coupe..just put a 302 in it. Its the same process and theres plenty of write-ups

It's alright. Maybe he posted in here because people in the 5.0 section are the most helpful? Although you are right, just try to help and not critize.

 Doesnt get more helpful than that

I was under the assumption that the V6 K-member was different than the V8 on the fox cars? Or was that just for the straight-6 of the early foxes?

I may be wrong, though, I have been out of the game for awhile now...but now I have the wheels in my head turning for a SC 3.8 swap into a fox...

Ive always been really disappointed in the 3.8 in my '01. But an S/c could put it up in stock v8 range i suppose

IMO, it just isnt worth the money (unless you already have a 3.8 in a vehicle) to get one, swap it in, and then possibly S/c it when you could just as easily do the same with the v8 for the same money.

But with that said theres a guy at the track i go to with a twin turbo v6 sn95 car and he can usually stand it up on the back bumper at the launch.

I was actually referring to the Super Coupe T-Bird 3.8 with 210hp and 360lb-ft stock.

The I-6 cars had the different k-member. I beleive the V6 used most of the same parts of the 5.0. Even the block bolt pattern is the same.
