i wonder now too..

im actually about to sand all the niteshades off my tails and reflectors. polish them and get them back to red. i have tom sending me a few things also, so it should look pretty cool when its all done. now i just have to find some red pinstriping..

Here's a pic of my '95 GT vert. 1 of 36 produced this year with the Crystal White paint and Bright Red Leather interior. I love when people ask where I got it done, lol. Car is all stock except for the Chrome Cobra R rims and I changed the white top to black (kinda regretting that after realizing how rare the car is now:eek:).

Any more info on this setup? The lack of an intercooler was always the biggest downfall of the 5.0 KB's IMO, I'm interested to see what all you've got going on there. It looks like you welded some tubes onto the blower outlet for the IC piping, but did you somehow do some work inside it to ensure that the boost goes through the IC piping instead of down into the intake?

Very creative, b:nice:ig thumbs up!

I completely agree that heat soak was the killer on the 5.0 kits. To be honest, i'd love to take credit on designing the kit. But it was a prototype kit that was turned down by KB. It's kind of a pain to install because lack of room. It has the standard blower whine, but it also has kind of a crazy intercooler sound. Which from what I've heard, is the reason KB never went with it. I've been able to find one other person with a kit like this. Mine apparently was the "bigger" version. There is a block off plate welded on the inside of the intake and a Mondo BOV right below the CAI on the return piping. Outside of the lack of room, I really like the kit. The intercooler is a 3-core and barely fits between the bumper and the radiator. I'm going to be putting in a tubular bumper and pull the rest of the smog garbage to hopefully lose weight and free up some room.

Let me know if you have any questions that I missed. I'd be happy to shoot you more pics if you want and I don't have to rip too much off the car :D
