PSI in houston tuned it. the motor is stock. he was told by some people not to run it that high. the pic has the pulley they said to run a safe about of boost. it was the largest pulley they had. we put a pulley on it about 1 inch smaller.

he was off today and had the car out playing around. he said he was getting a check eng light and was thinking something was wrong but he said it was running good. he said he took off and it was running hard. went into 2 and and it was pulling even harder, shifted into 3 and a rod came out.:notnice:
so he looking for another motor now.

That. Is. HILARIOUS! Sorry...but it is.
:rlaugh:

Everyone told you it would blow up. And it did!

I've seen a few posts with stock blocks blowing with 9 psi. Nothing can go wrong with detonation when you're running boost on an engine with the compression that our 3v's have especially in cold weather and in overdrive.

Why do you get detonation? Most often is because of a piss poor tune, regardless of hear say about the tuners reputation. It's so much different to tune the 3Vs and modular motors. Or piss poor gas. Regardless 15 lbs is too much for the stock motor like I said originally. 12 lbs is about the max you can go with a perfect tune and good gas. I don't understand why you would run it hard if you saw it had a CEL though. Stupid hurts..
