Thanks KD for the correction. I kept trying to blow up the photos and I couldn't get them clear enough to see what the emblems looked like exactly. Still the rule of supply and demand wins the day again eh?
08cali, I agree with you! :nice: The good part is, most of us that are on this forum drive our cars, well yeah for lack of a better word, drive :p

Latecomer to this thread too. Anything car that anyone buys is theirs and theirs to enjoy as they please. Good job.

Besides, there are plenty of Shelbys sitting covered in garages with flat spots in the tires.

I'm pretty sure that any car bought today won't have any collectors value in the future. Exceptions may be Vipers or the ZR-1/Z06 Corvettes. Any Mustang 2005+ can be "converted" into a Shelby...by Shelby...if you ask them to do it. It will be listed in the Shelby registry, too. Therefore, any Shelby Mustang today is worth nothing tomorrow.

That said, modify as you like!

As far as the 401k...LOL...umm...yeah. Good luck with that one too. The dollar will be long gone by the time most of us are to retire.

I was JUST talking to my friend about this very point this morning ... funny you should bring it up

I have a (Plum Crazy colored) 1970 Road Runner (440 engine) in my garage - its a cool old Muscle car, but what is cool to me (because its a car I remember growing up, and thinking I WANT THAT CAR) may not be a cool old Muscle car to someone else -say- 10 years from now ..

whats a Collector car today - may not be tomorrow
