And the average 2011 V6 is putting down 265rwhp (easily attained by even a lowely 2V with a few bolt-ons) and a measely 245rwtq (almost 40rwtq less than a bone stock 2V). Forget the extra weight the V6 has to carry around.
The V6 is still going to sound like a V6 and will not respond as well to mods as a V8 would. Im not knocking the '11 V6, but I'd still even take a PI 2V over it.
