I got a chance to buy a 94-98 rearend with 4.10s installed to swap onto my 91 fox. I was wondering if anyone knew the backspacing requirement to fit rims on it.

Im looking to get 17x9 rims and wouldnt mind deep dish on the back. Im not wanting any other "mustang" rims either. I'd rather find something away from the norm, as far as that goes.

They are 3/4" wider on each side.

There are ways to modify. With 5 lug fox length axles and brackets from north race car, you can pull them back in that 3/4"

I thought you had to run sn95 axles to clear the brake caliper? I have a 99-04 rear under mine now and am about to get some axles to swap my old rear end back in with the PBR brakes.

The only thing you have to clear are the abs exciter rings. That's what the longer axles are for. Since you don't have abs, you don't need to keep the longer axles.

Search around for " north cobra brackets" and you'll see how to pull the brakes in to have the same offset as the fox.

The 99-04 axle housing is wider than 86-98, so not mich you can domabout that
