i am 90% sure that i am going to go with kona blue. i am also going to try and figure out if my body guy would rather go a different route of sealing up the roof. he was the one who suggested to cut out and weld in a solid piece of metal to fix the roof. he seemed completely confident that it would turn out just fine. i have heard nothing but good stuff about this guy but maybe we can just seal it up and leave the glass in there.

Photoshop I done awhile back to show what my car will look similar to after paint work:

i am not a green fan, but that is straight sexy:nice:

i like the green but a side ?. i just got a 92 GT (still at my buddys house waiting on me) and it has a sunroof and the weather striping is cracked and looks done, i dont think it leaks but are leaks a big issue and are they hard to get to seal on the fox body's. just thinking about replacing the weather striping but if its hard to seal i will leave it alone till it leaks.

I think that Sonic Blue looks great on a Fox, and would love to see Competition Orange on a fox as well.

Both colors you have picked are very subltle, I would pick te Kona over the green.

Here is a Kona with chrome wheels and I think it looks pretty good.

Ummm, why am I the first one to ask "WHY" are you wanting to paint it? It seems like your paint you have now looks great... are you looking to enter shows?

Also, I hate green on a fox :D but I am surprised at the too many blue fox comments... I dont recall more than two in the entire Portland area that I have seen

As for competition orange  However when I went to get touchup paint for my Comp Orange SVTF it was somewhere in the neighborhood of $200 a pint IIRC. WAYYYY TOO EXPENSIVE to throw on a car that you DD or frequently drive.

The problem is that it's a straight, flat roof...so any ripple or wave will be completely visible. Basically the panel will need to be welded in such a way that accounts for warpage and gives you a straight flat roof.

Depends on the color, this may or may not hide well. I've seen mustangs with small dimples from stuff hitting the roof and it stands out like a sore thumb,

What is wrong with your roof? Is it factory? New seals and replacing and resealing the 4 drain tubes should fix any leak issues. Usually the train tubes fill up with crap and cause your leaks. Compressed air will clear them. I do mine regularly.

If it's an aftermarket roof, then there are no drain tubes. This is why aftermarket roofs suck.

here is the link to my not so progressive progress thread http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/8235188-post25.html.

what happened to the front bumper is in a nut shell i was being an ass hat coming out of a grocery store parking lot, grabbed second and slammed the skinny pedal, over corrected my slide, the ass end swung out the opposite way and i ended up flying up a curb at a 90* angle. so i replaced it with a JY bumper, tryed matching up some rattlecan paint and IMO failed pretty bad.

the roof leaked so bad that it could not be washed or driven in a light shower with out getting everything wet. i did yet another shady repair job. basically even if the sunroof stays the bondo i put in needs to come out, the bad metal needs to be grinded and new metal put in, new drainage toobs need to be put in because the previous owner cut them out and now water leaks down into my ECU and it most likely needs new weatherstripping.

i absolutely hate that sun roof but i also do not want my car looking like ****. i dont know what to do with it at the moment. i dont care if the glass stays in aslong as it is sealed and the water stays out. i dont even need to open it.
