Can I run tires with different load rating between rear and front?

I am got a pair of 255/35 up front with 97Y speed/load index.

Then I was looking for a pair of 285/35/18 and I came across one good deal but it is 97W instead of 97Y.

so my question is will it be okay to run 97Y up front and 97W in the rear?

If it is going to be fine then I am going to get the deal I have on the 285s

i dont see any problem with the two different tires being on different ends of the car.

No problem....

The 97 is the load rating, the W or Y is the speed rating.

W = up to 168mph
Y = up to 186mph

if the Y is in parentheses (97Y) = in excess of 186mph

I think it wont be a problem since I am not going anywhere near 168 mph lol
