Clutch cable or quadrant?

Hey, I have another problem... again. The car is a stock 93 5.0.
So, today I was on my way to a meet and everything felt normal. But I got to a red light and all of the sudden the clutch feels like jello, and it wont go into gear unless I hammer fist it. And once it's in gear with the clutch floored, if I let go of the brake it rolls like an automatic. I limp it to a parking lot and turn it off. I let it sit for a while and get in with the car off and it goes through the gears fine, so I turned it on and the clutch felt good and it went into all gears perfectly except reverse. A few seconds later the pedal starts to feel loose again and it wont go into gear. It also is really hard to get into neutral. What else could it be?
Thanks

Check your cable for signs of fraying. I had one that was kind of doing the same thing, turns out the cable was starting to break, and had 1 strand of wire left. I bought the Steeda kit with wire, quadrant, and fire-wall adjuster. Once you get it adjusted it is great. But may take a couple of days to find whats right for you in adjustments
