Best Tune for 2010 GT Auto- Brenspeed, Bama, or Tillman

I know Bama and Brenspeed tunes are good, have free tunes for life policy and great customer service. However, I am looking for better throttle response and low-end torque for more fun from street light to street light here in Atlanta driving my 2010 GT Auto. I understand these tunes from Bama or Brenspeed can feel very different. Would love to hear some input! :flag:

I use a Bama 93 Race Tune, and I love it, that tune with the C&L Racer CAI makes a huge difference over stock, I have an 06 auto GT and with the 93 and C&L & 410's my car chirps 2nd-4th gears, and has chirped 5th a time or two (when the gas tank was a bit low =less weight) Bottom end is really awesome, from a standing start, if I just floor it, the car will spin the tires thru first, second and partially thru third till it hooks, from like 60 to 100 is amazing too.

I have a BlowByRacing 93 Race Tune as well, its a good tune but does not have the same seat of the pants kick that the bama 93 has, I've never used a Brenspeed or Tillman tune, but I hear they are awesome.

What are you looking to get an 86/89/91/93 tune? If you're wanting an all out tune I'd obviously go with a 91/93 Race tune (whatever the highest octane you can get in your area) and also a 91/93 Performance tune (if you find the race tune is too much) you can also get a 91/93 street tune which is a little less than the performance tune.

Personally, just from the experience I've had, I'd recommend Bama, their tunes are amazing, especially the 93 race!!!

If I were to suggest anything to you it would be to do the tune of your choice along with a C&L, Steeda etc.....CAI at the same time, you will NOT regret it.

Just my 0.01 cents.

Best of luck, let us know what you end up doing :nice:

I think that the Bama 93 Race tune is going to be exactly what you're looking for. It's got plenty of throttle response and tons of low end torque. On top of that, the top end of the calibration pulls all the way to redline and doesn't fall off in any way.

Plus we offer the Street and Performance tunes as well. You will definitely find one that fits your taste if you experiment with all 3.

We also are the only company to offer Free Tunes for Life NO MATTER WHERE you purchase your modifications that you need updates for.

If you need to speak with a Bama custom tuning agent, they're here in the building from Monday-Friday 9AM-5:30PM EST at 888.226.9764, without having to deal with a middle man.

Need a tune update? Give them a shout - we handle all of our customer service for tuning right there on site and can usually get you squared away within 10-15 minutes.

Hope this answers your questions! Let me know if there's anything else that you need.

Good luck and Happy New Year!

Wow!! I'm impressed with you guys service, does having a tune VOID your cars warrenty?? Is it safe?? Sorry, I've been out of the loop for quite sometime. I come back and all of a sudden, no one speaks about superchip and everyone talks about Tunes.

They are all great tuners. I'd like to promote the company that tuned my car, though, Davad Motorsports.
DAVAD Motorsports, Where Quality Meets Performance

Both Daves (two guys named Dave own the company) were really a pleasure to work with, answered all my questions in detail and were very affordable. They write email tunes specifically for auto trans cars as well.

I cant say I wouldn't like be just as happy with the above mentioned tuners, either. I'm just saying that Davad won my business when I was shopping tunes a few weeks ago.

Hope this helps!

i highly recommend bamachips. with a jlt cai, cut and clamp x pipe (still stock cats), pype bomb axle back, and steeda udp, i made 308whp/320wtq on a 92 octane (not 93) performance tune (not race), with 3.90 gears (which hurts dyno performance compared to stock gears).

Okay, thank you guys for the feedback and input. It seems as though Bama's 93 Race tune is the way to go at this time. Since $380 is alot o' money, I may just wait a lil' bit, but I wanted something to think about in the meanwhile....:flag:

prae 21, you have been a Member for a while now and have a decent amount of posts, you can PM AMStanger and ask her for an American Muscle discount coupon code which you can use for all your purchases at American Muscle, its normally a 6% discount, so on a $380 purchase you would save $22.80.

Just thought I'd pass that info along to you :nice:

The tune wont void your warranty because the stealership wont have a way of knowing its in there. but, NEVER take your car to the stealership with a custom tune loaded. They will hook up a scanner, even with an oil change, and sometimes load an update into your computer which will then lock your tune in the car and make your handheld useless...

so, if you get a tune always always set it back to stock before taking it to a dealership to prevent them on screwing your tuner up.

My opinion

I have had both the brenspeed 93 Octane and Bama 93 Race on a 2010 auto. In fact, I compared them last week.

1. Bama 93 Race shifts way to fast at partial throttle to be a daily city driver. Brenspeed holds the gears alot longer and is my choice for city driving.

2. Gas mileage was better using Brenspeed 93 Octane tune.

3. WOT...I give the edge to Brenspeed due to their rocket like burst above 3 K RPM.

I am both a Brenspeed and AM customer and the customer service is great with both..
