Need suggestions for mufflers

Are the macs chambered or straight through like magnaflow?

Macs are chambered, but a bit differently than Flowmasters. I'm sure even the best sounding mufflers can sound like crap on the right car...just the same as how some cars with Flows sound boring and like a truck, but then some cars sound awesome with them. Everyone forgets that the muffler doesn't make the sound, the engine does.

Flowmasters on SBC sounds very flat for one reason or another.

Man, i hate to be a hater but i have yet to hear a Chevy engine that i liked. Cammed out just sounds like any other cammed out engine...but cruising/WOT they're like Mopars and just sound like trucks to me. You just can't beat a small block Ford for sound.

LOL! sbf is sweet alright. I know a guy with a chevelle with a 454 in it with about 11 1/2: 1 C/R and a nasty cam with flows and that bitch sounds bad ass.

I'll vouche for Xpipe with spintechs. No drone on the highway or cruising (and I have 3.73s) your ashtray will jingle your change(If you use it for spare change like I do :p) a little bit at stops but I have turndowns if you run tips all the way out it will probably stop this. It can be quiet on cruises and really has that muscle 5.0 growl when you want it to. Hope this helps
