I have a 95 gt that is all stock and want to delete the a/c and smog. The smog isnt hooked up to the hoses but still to the belt system and the a/c doesnt work so I want to delete them both. I found a belt routing diagram online and wanted your guys input on it ( the best ways to delete). Can I just take the smog and a/c off and get a shorter belt because I did this on my 89 notch and it worked great and never had a problem and freed some power up can I do the same on the 95? Any help would be much appreciated.

You can either remove all the smog and a/c hardware to lose some weight, or just bypass them with a belt. If you remove completely, you need to be aware that it might hurt your resale, and depending on where you live, might cause you registration headaches. Also, just be sure you plug all the wholes when you remove the smog equipment.

If I do decide to take them off all together I will keep it all so I can sell it with the car when and if I decide to. The diagram I showed should work with no problems though right because I have read good and bad about bypassing them.
