Hello everyone,

My name is Mark I have recently decided to start playing with my wifes 94 mustang gt convertible. I had a 1985 mustang gt from 1987-1991, its has proven to be my favorite car. For the last six years I Drag raced a Turbo Hayabusa. I took a couple of spills at the track and thought it was probably time to hang it up. We have owned the 94 mustang gt for about five years and I hadn't done anything but the required maintenance. The car was purchased with 29,000 original miles, it currently has 83,000 miles. The car came with a AODE transmission which I never liked, I found a 95 5-speed car I was able to swap for 2 dirtbkes. I replaced the AODE with the 5-speed and it is like a different car. I have been thinking of a Turbo system but i'm not exactly sure what I want to do. I have two of these things now and thought this might be the place to get ideas!!!

hey welcome , Im from houston as well northwest . Well my opinion about the turbo charged stangs is you get lag and the power is not there as soon as you hit the gas you have to wait for it to spool up then it goes at about 3 or 4000 rpms . I would personally go with a supercharger there alot more reliable less work to install it's a bolt on kinda job you don't have to do custom work. Whatever you decide I would see how much psi/boost your motor can handle having stock upper and bottom I think most can handle 10psi stock then you will have to consider if your rear can handle the new power as well . I believe they came with a 8.8 rear just research what the car has in it .
