Battery drain, tested no drop pulling fuses?

I recently had this issue on my 95, and it seemed to be the keyless entry module located inside the trunk.

Apparently over the years a leak has seeped into my trunk and blown the box. As soon as I disconnected it my draw dropped to almost nothing.

The only down side is with the module unplugged I have no power unlock or interior lights.

I have ordered a new module (used) online and will update with status when it arrives.

I saw .5 ish on the draw as far as a target goes. When I pull the amp wiring and fuse 8 it drops to between .07 and .12.

By .07 and .12 do you mean Amps??? I ask because .07 amps (which equals 70 milliamps) is still considered high and .12 Amps (120 mA) is definitely high. Most sources seem to agree that parasitic current draw shouldn't exceed 35 mA. After I found my short circuit and disconnected the radio, my draw dropped to about 4 mA.

Granted, electronically speaking, my car is stock. So perhaps it depends on what extra electronics you have setup.

My meter is set to 20m on the Amp side...I assume that is 20mA. Still on the high side but not that far off. I tested again and after a long time to allow the meter to settle when pulling the #8 fuse it drops to .04 and never spiked above .07.

I have two amps, .5 capacitor, CD deck, CD changer, and Digital EQ on the stereo end (speakers of course as well).

I have a side load (relay tapped into the vert switch that is not constant to activate the switch) stand alone fuse panel with my n2o main power, Bottle warmer, electric gauges, and line lock running off that. This is so nothing is added to or an extra load for any of the stock items.
