Well about two weeks ago I sold my 87 GT to find something a little nicer. Saturday I drove about 3 hours and picked up a new fox. I got a 1993 LX convertible, it is red with a black top and black leather interior. It is in alot nicer shape than my last, has no rust, pretty decent paint and runs great. It was converted to a 5 speed, has a cobra intake, flowmasters and 373 gears, other than that I think its pretty well stock. Man I love that thing though, going tomorrow to get license for it then coming home and getting it all cleaned up. It could use a good cleaning and will look great after a good clean. I will take pictures tomorrow and if I can figure out how I'll get em posted up here.

Let me know what you guys think, it needs to be cleaned up but then it'll look pretty nice I think. Its too cold and nasty outside today to try an clean it up, I'm thinking I'll have to waiit till thursday to get it all shiny.
One question, on the last picture, where could I find that piece thats broken at?
Thanks for looking!

Wow...I'm not sure if i remember ur last car but this one looks great!

I never posted pictures of my last one. It was an 87 GT 5 speed, white, had a stock motor, ram air hood, flowmasters, lowered. The paint was chipping, it was missing a few of the molding pieces, transmission was going out, starting to rust, leaked, 167k miles, but it ran good haha. I definitely took a step up with this one. I sold the 87 for 2100 and picked this up saturday for 3800.
And thanks for the compliments!

looks good....now get to modding... I already see it has cobra intake and a 3g alt.

3g alt? What is this?
Sorry I don't know what all has been done to it, the guy I bought it from said all he remembered was the 373 gears, converted to 5 speed, cobra intake and I think thats it.
As for me though I just want to get it in good shape and keep it running strong as its my daily driver, there won't be too many performance mods done to it. The only thing I can think that I would consider would be lowering it a tad but thats all.

A 3G alternator is off a 94-95 Mustang. It puts out about 130 amps as opposed to the stock Fox's 65 amps. They are easy to spot since they don't have the external fan blade like the stock alts do. You should check and make sure that it has a heavy gauge charge wire on it (instead of the two stock 10 gauge wires). I can't see one on the battery, if it doesn't have one you should get one to avoid an engine fire.

Car looks great btw!

reat Looking Vert!

I would also install a factory oil fill cap. Right now you have a vacume leak with that open element filter on your oil fill.....

The tube that runs from the filler neck to the Throttle body is your PCV vent hose. Your sucking un metered air into the crank case and then into the intake from the PCV. That hose is there after the MAF to allow the PCV to have air into the crank case to work, that way it does not creat vacume in the crankcase.

Thanks for the compliments guys!
I will have to loook into getting a new oil fill cap, didn't know that, thanks, and the wires too.
Tomorrows the big day, it will finally be warm and sunny so I will get it all cleaned up, I will post before and after pictures for sure!
Thanks Guys!

Well I got her all washed up today, can't tell a huge difference from before and after but I've got pictures anyways lol. It was fun giving it a bath for the first time, hopefully the pictures turned out good.
