you'll need to get a different hood for one to clear.. your whipple/pulley barely clears the stock hood as is. Subframe connectors will help handling out a lot, a lot more than a strut tower brace.

Your money may be better spent with a better set of shocks/struts and springs, swaybars as well if your budget allows it. I am not sure what you have now, but if you have stock parts, there is a lot of room for improvement. I had a strut tower brace before I put on my supercharger and did not notice any change. For the cost of a strut tower brace and a hood, you could get some nice parts. The 05+ cars have a pretty solid chassis, they do not benefit as much from strut tower braces as previous mustangs.

I agree with ct07gt. You would benefit more by having some nice shocks, struts and springs or a coil over set-up and swaybars. Lower control arms are huge for traction, and an upgraded panhard bar as well would be good for the twisties.

If your money permits, we will soon have a Cortex Racing suspension package for the S197's that will have a ton of parts:
- Koni front and rear coilover
- Caster/ Camber Plates
- Bump Stops
- Rear Lower Control Arms and brackets that relocates the geometry for the lowered ride height
- Rear Shock Mounts for us with 10.5 or 11" wide wheels and 315 tires
- Watts Link package

Optional parts to include a Torque Arm and strut brackets to mount 315's on the front.

This kit will be available next month and retails for $4K. This is a top end kit meant for street and track.

If you want a strut tower brace, just make some calls to somewhere who sells
and installs them like Dallas Mustang, Tell em, hey Ill buy one if you gaurente
it fits. If your car is low miles you dont really have to replace shocks, struts,
control arms and all that. Depends on how much $$$ you want to spend.
A good strut tower brace can be had for $150. to $250.... I love mine.

I have the Roush double bar brace over my supercharger and still retain the stock hood. It does however rub the hood blanket and I have since removed it and painted the hood. Don't know if the M90 supercharger is higher than the Whipple but if the brace clears it, the hood should too.
