I have to sell my dream car because I'm moving from FT Lewis in Tacoma, WA to FT Drum in Watertown, NY where it snows 200" every year from OCT-APR.
Anyway, here's the details:
This is an extremely low mileage 1997 Mustang Cobra SVT. There are a true 29,000 miles on it as of today. I'm the third owner. The original owner was a mustang collector and put in a lot of modifications (over $2000 worth). I have all his receipts to prove what is in the car. I don't want to sell it. I bought it last summer, but I'm PCSing back to FT Drum, NY this summer and I'll need something with 4WD to handle all that snow. I've used it almost exclusively for commuting from Lacey to FT Lewis. I don't drive it hard either. It has been garage kept since it was new. If you check Kelley Blue Book, you'll see my price is fair especially when you include all the modifications. The mods are as follows:
1) STEEDA TRI-AX BILLET SHIFTER - $180
2) R&R high performance clutch - $400
3) Under drive pulley - $160
4) STEEDA time adjuster - $330 (including installation)
5) 4.10 Gear Package - $520 (including installation)
6) Sport Spring kit - $190
7) Front struts - $200
8) Tokico rear shocks - $100
9) Mustang K&N replacement filter - $50
There is also custom paint with the artist's signature just below the rear tail light. I don't race, but the car gets lots of looks and lots of challenges. I can show it in Lacey or at FT Lewis. I hate to see it go, but I'd hate to put it through a FT Drum winter even more.
