Yeah, it probably will run like poo, and throttle response will be for s***...but, if it's the MSD the problem will follow exactly as it did before. Your idle will likely suffer some, but the computer should put it in limp mode and bring up the idle a little to compensate I think.
I'm USAF...I'm actually an expediter now, I don't turn wrenches anymore. I crewed B-1s for 9 years, then went to QA for four years, came back to the line for a few months, then threw me in the office as a section chief. About 6 months ago, the shortage of folks finally hit our production section and I was yanked there. So, I try to execute the flying schedule for the production super...I push maintenance actions and coordinate different agencies to produce sorties. I'm sure my brother would like to hear your experiences about working Boeing's hot rod , and the '67; he does floor design up in Seattle on the '87.
