Any thoughts on this charger?? Ive always been a nitrous guy but a friend of mine is offering me a SMOKIN deal (i think-$1000) on this charger with intercooler, off his 04 gt. The only problem is hes only selling the head unit and the intercooler, so what will have to be purchased to run it on my 02 2v thats in my 88 coupe? I know i will need the bracket(s) and being that the motors in my coupe, the piping will surely have to be custom, but what about injectors, mass air, etc. Is this a "noisy" charger?? I want this sooo bad but i cant afford to make a purchase thats gnna sink me on install. My motor currently only has a diablo tune and a CAI.......

The P1 is completely silent. You can't here it with the hood closed. It is a great little blower that is more than capable of maxing out a stock 2v. Just off the top of my head, you will need a BOV, injectors, a BAP, and possibly an intercooler. Contact Procharger and ask them what you need. Good luck. Once you get it set up correctly, it should be a lot of fun!

I had a p1sc on my old motor but it's been years ago back in 07 it was a good blower for the price I think the kit was 4k I had fun with it while it lasted I pushed out 11psi making 440rwhp stock internals it's not a really loud noisy blower but if you close the hood you can still hear it contact procharger and ask them what you need

Great blower, and I call BS on the you cant hear them with the hood closed bc mine and everyone ive seen you can hear with the hood closed. I was @10lbs and made 406 with a slipping clutch, bolt ons and comp NPI stage 2 cams.
