My 90 Notch is running cold - normal ?

So i've only had my notch about a month or so. I've noticed that it's a little slow to warm up, and it never gets above around 140 according to the gauge.

See picture. This is how she runs all the time. Is this normal for a 5.0 ? Or should I be pulling and replacing the thermostat ?

could be the sensor ... my 93 did the same thing never really ponderd to much about it

My 90 gt convert does the same thing. As long as its not over heating. Shes fine. I check the fluids constantly to be safe, but it is probably the senor to the gauge.

My 92 and my 89 both ran around there so I'd say its normal, or a very common problem lol

those guages are not accurate at all. dont go by the numbers. go by position and if it ever moves alot you know something is going wrong.

Well, mine does it too, only the heater doesn't really warm up. I'm guessing the previous owner pulled the stat or put the wrong one in...
