Tremec 6 Speed Fox Swap?

Hey fellas I found a tremec 6 speed on c list from a 4.6 mustang for $400 bucks. part number is 7003 ac it also has 10 splines on the input shaft and 31 on the output shaft. how hard of a swap is this to do? can I just buy a bell housing for a sbf? And is that a good price for a tremec?

Yeah your going to need a different cross memeber to. Call the Shop I work at AMP Preformance. We are a tremec elite dealer and do swap like that all the time. We also do rebuilds to. that tranny goes for 2900 brand new. so yeah it a hell of a deal as long as the gears arent all chewed to hell and syncros and everything is good.

Assuming it is in good shape, I would buy it asap and worry about it later. You could always resell it for more...

so all it would require is a crossmember, shorter driveshaft, and bellhousing?
