Drivetrain Will A Clutch Meant For 1993 Fit On A 1987?

What is different about the T5 trannies? Looking through some part listings, some parts say 93-2001, and some clutches 1986-2001.. This doesn't make sense to me?

Any reason why a clutch for a 1993 wouldn't fit on a 1987-1988?

It'll fit. '86-'93 are all the same 10.5" set up. Prior to that, they ran a 10" unit.

Yes, that is what i thought. I wonder why the discrepancies with the listings? Nothing different with the flywheels or anything?

Talked to them on the phone, they said the 2002 #PN is for a T45 tranny.. sigh

What uses T45? SN95? Did they take a different clutch?

2002 should have a Tremec 3550 or 3650 I would think. But, those are way out of my knowledge base.

No, just concerned about difference between 1993 and 1987.

Talked to them on the phone again, and they said what I want would be 52672006, which would have SLIGHTLY more clamping force, but not really any more pedal effort.

But it doesn't seem to be a common number like 52672001 and 2002.
