No secrets here! it's just not a 79-95 and will be pushrod powa'd.

But it will have AC and power steering so that's gotta give me some kind of credit

Please just finish a project and post some numbers!;)
This one will get finished, no doubt there. Be a good while before the numbers are worth posting. I've got a stock LS1/T56 on the way now, will maybe stick a blower cam in it to go along with the Longtubes otherwise its gonna be pretty unimpressive.
Wanting to get the car running as reliably as possible before the fun really starts. Planning to build a pushrod version of the terminator pretty much.

I love this body style. Where is the motor coming from? Lets get this thing started.

Technically he has finished a project but (in my opinion) let it go to soon. But, if it paved the way for this one then I am good with it.

White car taught me everything I DONT want on this car.

Motor is coming from Texas, been bouncing around the country since the 22nd, holidays slowed it down pretty good. 80k 01 WS6 dropout, has an Ls6 block (yay for better oiling I guess ), LS6 intake and 241 heads. Nothing to write home about yet. Will probably go in bone stock, might throw the blower cam in it while the motors out though.

Rear end and fuel system are built to support 4-digit power so no worries there.

I've been talking with a guy from RPM about what it would take to make my t56 a fbody/cobra hybrid but it's just not going to be cost effective. I refuse to hack up my console, but think I'll be able to keep it factory looking in that aspect. Then to tackle the clutch hydraulics.

I've got a box full of brand new LS AC components but think I'm going to fab up a bracket and use the ford compressor. Whole cobra system is intact and sealed still.
Power steering conversion using the GM pump is done. Will retain hydroboost brakes as well so that's cool.

I've got a PSI harness, stock harness and a couple ECUs but they're getting sold so I can go Holley EFI again. Planning to make all the factory gauges functional, that will be fun.

Ordered black 18" FR500s to replace the ugly draglites so my back room has become a parts warehouse. Got some floor mats I'm way too excited about too.

Ordered my Toyos today, who knows when they'll come in.

AJE stuff and fuel rails will be here tmrw so that'll give me something to do.

Those are the wheels I want on my fox. When I had my 01gt i had a set of rear 18x10s and was just looking for a front 17x9 before I ended up selling the whole car.

So we shant have to wait long before we see some progress on this thing. At least that is what I am reading.

Hopefully not. It'll at least look a lot better sitting there!

I'm all good with it, unless you're gonna tell me that there is a running, blown termi still under that hood.
Most definitely not. This car is an honest 9.5/10, even I could never do that to a running, driving car. Bought it as a roller, wrestled with the idea of a coyote swap. Priced a stock coyote swap, decision got a lot easier

I hear ya. A termi build is the "qualifier" that shuts down the most anti ls swap supporter. That is the one, single, engine that doesn't win the " why didn't you keep it a Ford" argument every time.

Id have really loved to do a coyote crate and a.manual transmission. But it's just so overpriced. Maybe that's not the right word since its current-gen tech but I was turned off of it pretty quickly.

Even more so than my last build (no one likes 94-98 cars), I've accepted the hate it will get. Not doing it to "tick off the haterZ" or anything, just a side effect I'm willing to deal with.

In other news Tread Depot suprised me and shipped my tires out way sooner than I thought. Didn't expect much from a website I hadn't heard of with such cheap prices :nice:
