a long time mopar guy since mid 80's and still have a small herd of them, I decided want to find a fun modernish stang for fun and a modern vehicle. my newest vehicle is 95 ram cummins, that makes it 20 yrs old!
just not sure what to go looking for. can't afford anything too new, don't want to buy something I have to rebuild an engine for, etc! want a v 8 for sure.
I hope to make some new friends and learn a bunch!

You can find 99-04 Mustang GT's for a decent price with low miles. Finding 05-up GT's for a good price will be tough because they usually have quite a few miles on them.

Welcome aboard Bill. I agree that a 99-04 4.6 would be ideal for you. Good looks, nice V8 sound especially with aftermarket pipes, and a fairly refined vehicle, especially when compared to any previous generation, good and reliable, and can be found fairly cheap. Just look for one that is fairly stock and not hacked u
