    Complete 5-lug swap?

Most likely a Pro Star 15x10 or 15x8 in the rear and 15x3s up front. I will probably need a spacer for up front so the rims fit. The tires will be Mickey Thompson ET Streets out in the back.

    Complete 5-lug swap?

What would it take to do a complete 5-lug swap to an 1989 LX that is BONE stock? I would like a list if it could be possible. I think we will be doing Moser 31 spline axles if possible, and one of the mach 1 brake kits. What else is needed? P.S. I tried to search, but only got 3 pages to turn...

    Best CAI?

Okay. I am probably going to do full exhaust(long tubes+o/r h-pipe), 125-150shot of Nitrous, Trick Flow Stage 2 Cam, gt40 heads, and an intake manifold. Would it see benefits then?

    Best CAI?

Well, I was wondering what would give the most horse. Are there any kits out there that I should be aware of not working because of fitment issues too?

    Best CAI?

I'm not a huge fan of buying stuff off Ebay, especially car parts.

Zex Kit...what else do I need

I would personally go NX or Coldfusion. I've had experience with NX, and it has seemed very stable, and reliable. So far I haven't needed to replace anything but plugs every few months. My friend with a WS6 has Coldfusion at a 150shot, and it is a great kit also. I'm not sure if they make a kit...

    Future Upgrades... H/C/I.. Supercharger..??

This is true, but that is expensive. Almost 5k just for the parts. A brand new s-trim is around $2300, and a TFS h/c/i package is another $2200. Be prepared to spend a lot to get both. Otherwise, maybe an explorer intake, gt40 heads, and a cam would give you some snarl, at a much cheaper price...

    Bolt ons on a budget

If I were in your spot, I would do a shifter and some Full-Length Sub Frame Connectors. Then you might want to think about adding BBK 1 5/8" Longtubes($219) and a BBK O/R H-pipe($120).

    Best Rear Suspension

Aye, the panhard bar is great for street use if you aren't going for an all out strip car. It gives you better traction on the street, but also allows you to corner better. I've only installed 2, on a 03mach1 and 98gt, but we didn't need to weld to install it. I would say adjustable UCA are...

Straight pipes... How do they sound?

Okay, I get the picture. What is a good sounding catback for cheap, or should I just do american thunder 40 series mufflers?

    Future Upgrades... H/C/I.. Supercharger..??

I would say, unless you are planning to run 450+whp, then you will be good with the stock block. The stock block usually cracks around 500whp eventually, but with just a S-Trim you are good. As for a h/c/i on top of that, if you go too extreme, you may have problems, but with just a mild setup...

Why don't you just drop the entire rear and do some moser axles and carrier as well?

    Advice, $800 to spend

http://www.jdsperformance.com/index.asp?initemuid=298&fcmd=item&inmake=0 Those are some pretty decent upper and lower control arms from what I have read and heard about them. They would give you some traction help, but it seems that you don't do much but rolls. I would suggest doing full...

Straight pipes... How do they sound?

How would straight pipes sound on a 89 LX? Custom done. I was either thinking either doing that, or getting a cheap catback. If not, what is a good sounding catback for 1 5/8" BBK Longtubes and a BBK O/R H-pipe.

Cheap headers any good? Flowtech 1 5/8" longtubes for $125...

Thanks for the feedback guys, it really helped. I told my friend about them, and he said he was going to opt for the BBK. Just one last question, for a nitrous+c/i and maybe heads, would 1 5/8" be fine, or should I opt for $75 more and get 1 3/4"? Would he even see a 10whp difference once tuned...

Cheap headers any good? Flowtech 1 5/8" longtubes for $125...

Yeah. We were leaning towards the BBK originally, but the 1 5/8" ones. I had a pair on my Mach1 that were easy to install, and sounded great, and another guy around here has a pair on his notch. I thought they were made well, and fit perfectly. Maybe we will just stick with those. Plus, the...
