Oh believe me I'm working them hard. They started at 3,665. I'm at 6,100 and going up from their. It looks like I may end up at around $8,000 with the car back.

I never cried. But I have been so close so many times. You have no idea. It does genuinely hurt inside a lot.

Well let me give you guys some more detail. The accident was my fault since I pulled out and made a left turn in front of another car. What is jacked up is it was on a residential street and my 35 mph airbags deployed. You can imagine how fast he was going to do that kind of damage and make...

Who's near 91350 and can switch tailights for a day? Fix it ticket

In the next week or two. I have to have it mailed to San Bernadino by 8/8/08 (Got it on the way home from Vegas. Wasn't even speeding either) but I just have to stop by my local CHP station to get it signed off. I'd like to have a little leeway time though. I'd like to do it on one of the...

Who's near 91350 and can switch tailights for a day? Fix it ticket

I got a fix-it ticket for no front license plate, tinted taillights, and window tint. I'm hoping there is a Stangnet pal near me that wouldn't mind helping me out for a day and switching taillights so I can get it signed off. I used VHT Nightshades for my tinting on the taillights so it is...

    Brake Upgrade...Options?

This is what I put on mine except I went with the drilled version. I don't know what your budget is but talk about a world of difference!!!!! These run a little over a thousand, not the $2-3K like some of the big brake kits...

Does anyone know which MAF adapter will fit???

I need a MAF adapter for my intake and am wondering which size is going to fit our style MAF correctly. I was looking on Spectre Performance's website and they have one which is a "small" Ford MAF adapter and the other is a "large" Ford MAF adapter. I just don't know which one in the correct...

cross drilled/slotted rotors or stock one?

I'm not interested in getting into this debate but I will give you my experience with cross-drilled and slotted rotors. When it was time to do brakes I went with some ebay cross-drilled and slotted rotors as well as some hawk pads. I have to say that the difference in stopping was negligible...

Problem with Baer 13" Rear Brake Kit

I had to yank on mine pretty hard too. The little ring that the cable runs through that is mounted on the lower control arm can be bent to help route it better. I played around with this a little. The thing i had trouble with the first time though, is that I had to push the caliper pistons...

Whistling Throttle Bodies! Does anyone have a solution?

A while back I installed a Edelbrock Throttle Body, Edelbrock Elbow and a Edelbrock Performer Intake. Since this install I have that annoying whistle on light acceleration. Has anybody come up with a solution to get rid of this. If there is something I can do I would love to know. Otherwise...

Just put in some New rack bushings

I chose to do the same. The previous owner installed the offset ones. I didn't actually know until I went to put in all the bushings I had purchased. I have been wondering if that attributed to what a great improvement I got when I changed all of my bushings out. - Justin

    Brembo Kit Arrives!!! =*PICS*=

I'm not a specialist, and you may have a valid point, but I wonder why so many of the top brake kits of all brands have a drilled or slotted design. It just doesn't seem like a company like Wilwood, Stoptech, or Brembo would make $3,000 brake kits and reduce performance of those kits by...
