255's on 17 X 8.5's. Anyone know if I can do this and if there are any problems accociated with going this size on an 8.5 :shrug: Got my new Y2K's and when I dismounted my old tires at skool to swap, I found 2 slits in the sidewall on 2 of my 245's. Hoping to go wider this time. Just in the rear.

I know this belongs in the chop shop room, but I need this done within and hour before the bid to another set of rims I wants ends. Don't wanna pass those up to try to get these untill I see these on my car. PLEEEEEEASE some one help me out. I'd appreciate it a bunch. Thanks

Just what it says up there. I have 245/45/17 tires and am looking at these 17x9's. Right now the 245's are mounted on some stock 17x8's. Will they work?
