    Car/Brakes pulling Left

I think I'd be having the alignment checked again and pay particular attention to the ball joints. Ford has upgraded them in 08 IIRC and there several posts on Mustangs forums regarding excessive ball joint wear. You may want to re-bleed the brakes just to make absolutely sure there isn't any...

    Changing S197 Fuel Filter

The only other thing I did was pull the fuel pump fuse and crank the engine to eliminate any pressure in the line. I don't know if it helped as I did have to mop fuel trapped in the lines but it couldn't hurt. +1 on that plastic panel being a PITA.

Whipple/Thump_rrr tensioner owners -- advice needed.

Yeah, I thought about that too, but even an eight rib belt would be running on the outer edge of the pulley I think.

    spark plug change

I changed my plugs at 34k miles when I installed the S/C and had NO problems at all. I was all prepared with penatrating oil and a print out of the TSB so I could fight them out. To my surprise, all of the plugs came out without the slightest bit of drag. Once they were broke loose they were...

Whipple/Thump_rrr tensioner owners -- advice needed.

I have tried to get an answer to this question with very little response so I hope someone here can help me out. I had my belt break and it only had about 1500 miles on it. After reading everything I could find on several forums, this is not an uncommon problem. From what I've read, the...

Storing my '07 GT for the winter

I agree. One of the main issues with the longevity of today's oils is acid concentrations. Today's oils, especially synthetics are very stable and do a great job of holding particulates in suspension until they can be filtered out and at the same time provide much superior lubrication than the...

    Clutch problems

I just installed a new clutch, flywheel, pressure plate and slave cylinder in my 2007 GT. It has been in for a whopping 24 hours so I can't truely evaluate the final outcome being it isn't broke in yet. I went with a Fidanza aluminum flywheel, Mc Leod RST, and a new slave cylinder from Rock...

    Agent 47 Vortex Generators

+ 1, I'm afraid I'd hurt my head when I fell down. How? I'd have to walk backwards to get in the car to avoid looking at it and throwing up. Functional, maybe, but damn! Hell you could squash the roof 1/2 way down in a car crusher and reduce drag too, but I wouldn't suggest doing that, LOL.

Stainles brake lines - worth it?

Thanks, it sounds like it may be a worth while mod. I've never been a big fan of the brakes on my car and this may give me a little more confidence. I am definately going to be upgrading the pads until I can afford a big brake upgrade to the car. So the addition of the lines as well, may be...

GT 500 splitter on a California Special

I've seen some examples of folks with GT's installing the GT500 front valence/splitter on their rides. Based on the photos, I THINK I can install one on my Cal Special front spoiler. My question is; will the splitter/valence just increase downforce or does it reduce the drag as well? I know...

GT500 Lip installation on a GT

Bump, I'd like to know this too. It looks like you might be able to modify the honeycomb portion to fit the unique design of the CA Special, especially since it has to be covered anyway. Also, where did you guys get the part from? Dealer?

Blower guys...Any gains from Shorty's over stock manifolds?

Thanks for the info! That's kind of what I thought. I'd heard that shorty's didn't do much for N/A cars being that Ford did it pretty damned good to start out with, but I wasn't sure if there was anything there for the F/I crowd. Thanks again.

Does anyone have before and after experience with this? I'm currently bolting on a Whipple HO and am curious myself.

    Spare tire for big brakes

Can the tire be patched and reused after it has been "sealed" or does the sealant ruin the tire? That would be an expensive "nail" if such were the case.

    Spare tire for big brakes

I'm looking to upgrade my brakes to either a GT500 or Baer "big brake" kit. My question is, will the stock/supplied GT spare tire fit and clear the brakes? Is the spare for the GT500 different than the GT? Does anyone have experience with this and have actually test fitted the spare to...
