    I'm getting ready to paint my interior. I'm going to use the rattle can paint from NPD. The existing paint on the doors and dash is in good condition, doesn't appear to have any rust or anything behind it. Do I need to strip it all down to bare metal or can I just scuff it up and spray it?

    I had an old Pathfinder several years ago. It had BFG All Terrain tires that were about 6-7 years old. One day I came out and had a flat, the side wall had cracked from dry rot. Still plenty of tread left on them but I replaced all 4 for safety's sake.

    Have you guys seen the new fender lip rolling tool from Eastwood? Eastwood Fender Finisher Rolling Tool It pinches the lip rather than rolling, seems like it would take more time but it's a ton cheaper than their regular rolling tool. What are your thoughts? Worth a shot?

    Sorry to hear about the wreck, that sucks! Hope you're ok. If a fuel cell is out of the budget, have you thought about a stock tank with tank armor or fabricating your own steel cover? Not sure if it provides more peace of mind over safety but it seems like a good concept. Here's a link...

    I have the 13 1/2" version of what pyroman has and like it. The only thing is the horn button is a pain. I had to glue it on to keep it from popping off.

    I have this problem too. I got something from Advance Auto in the battery cable section that basically screws onto the existing post and extends it.

    They have tons of small little dings in them I guess accumulated over the years. I took them off to replace my vinyl top so maybe new ones will fit ok for me since I didn't add any paint.

    Do you guy's know of anyone that restores chrome trim? My drip rails are beat up and I really don't want to use new pieces if I can help it, I've heard they don't fit right. Is there anywhere I can send it for getting the dings out and refinishing it?

    +1 on the 225 up front. I have 17"x8" rims with 235/45/17 tires all around. It's lowered about 2" front and rear. I need to roll the front fender lips, its rubbing when I make a sharp turn. No trouble in the rear.

    Thanks for the advice guys. Any idea how much it would cost (ballpark) to get it hot tanked and checked for cracks? D.Hearne does that mean you don't think its worth $95 if it's a standard early model block?
