I have a 04 GT with stock 17x8s now I am looking at 17x9-17x10.5 or 18x9-18x18.10. What is the right back spec and what size tire can i put on with some kind of dr on the back.

Has anyone put nittos on a stock Gt and broke any thing in the rear end. I want to put 315 nittos 555rs put some people are saying you can break the rear. Then every one else Say's I'll be fine i don't have enough power to break any thing.HELP!!!!
