I just found a motor from a 1990 2.3L, and I have a 1993 2.3L that needs heads....Can I take the heads off from the 1990 and put the heads on the 1993 Motor.... I know the difference that the 1990 has the distributor and the 1993 has the 8 plugs... Thanks alot for your help.

Stupid question, but curious what parts are needed... When rebuilding motor, what is actually being replaced? Im trying to understand everything, cause I will be doing majority of the work...Im lookin at a 93 5.0 with 150K miles...and most likely it will need a rebuild soon...It runs strong...
