When replacing the frame rails after the new torque boxes are installed does the new firewall need to be in first? Or does the frame rail weld just to the box and then the toeboards that go over the torque boxes? In other words do the frame rails weld to the firewall at all? And can you re-use...

I do have a clean title and the vin matches the fender apron and the door warranty tag. I thought it was illegal to have a new tag made? I have looked everywhere for a blank or someone who can make them with no luck and just figured nobody will do it.

Thanks for the help.I didnt realize they just pry off after you take the bolts off. They were stuck on there pretty good thats why i couldnt get them off by pulling on them. A little help from a screwdriver did the trick.Thanks.

Sorry im too far out for you. Its not just the rivits though. Half the plate is corroded and the VIN is getting pretty hard to read.
