    the holes for the set screws weren't even threaded. do you really think it will make that big of a difference?

    I finished already. the only problems I had were that I somehow got 2 different tie rod ends and one of them didn't come with the set screw and I called a shop and they said just use lock tight and I should be good.

    I'm in the middle of it now and I got the inner separated from the outer tie rod but I can't find out how to get off the inner tie rod from the steering shaft. is there a set screw or something? I don't want to force it and break something. thanks in advance

    I don't know. whatever I have came on the car and the guy knew nothing about cars. I'm going to try replacing the clutch cable. should I buy a new firewall adjuster or does that come with the clutch cables? should I also buy a new quadrant?

    there werent any retaining clips and I got it off and turned and reinstalled everything. should I get the retaining clips? also before the brakes had a problem with chirping and it got a lot quieter but is still there. any idea of what it could be? thank you for all your help

    ok thanks. i heard that the pypes exhaust kits were bad quality and didn't fit right? I'm thinking of maybe going with a cam and having the stock gt40 heads ported and polished. what kind of cam do you think I should go with? and would there be a big enough difference to have the heads done...

    hole in gas tank..

    I looked at the water weld and it said it was for gas tanks so I used it. It worked great and I saved a piece of it to see how hard it got and it was pritty impressive how hard that got and how fast. I'm still planning on getting it welded or getting a new tank.
