    3V Spark plug change hell

I am an aircraft mechanic. I pulled the plugs in my 06 Gt with 8K on it last weekend. 30 min job and no issues. Cleaned the plugs up and put them back in. After I broke them loose from being torqued down they came out with my fingers. Since this is pretty darn easy I think I will just...

    08 GT transmission noise

Its a Mustang. Same crunchy noisy gear whining sound that my dads 67 fastback 4sp top-loader has. Bang for the $ it is a hell of a value for the last true muscle car to run down the road. Over at Dodge and Chevy they seem more worried about these little details and end up with a car much...

Brenspeed Tune, Failed PA Emissions Testing... help!

I live in Georgia and need to pass the emissions via the OBD port. Here in Cobb county or any of the counties near the city you have the same issues. One more reason I want to move farther from the city. Been waiting on LT headers and the off road pipe until I get to a more emissions friendly...

    Grille Options

The CDC one is nice. If you watch ebay I picked up a shelby GT polished one for $150 + $20 S&H... Nice parts seem to look even better when you get a "deal" on them. Eric

    Grille Options

The shelby grill is a complete replacement grill and not a type of overlay. I purchased one off a guy on ebay at an incredible price as from shelby I think they are like $399. The grill is very nice and the same exact one you see in the shelby GT. The old grill is completely removed. It...

    American Racing Redlines

The guy over at BRS says he is 99% sure he can make a custom set for those wheels. He just needs dimensions of the hub and he can make an adaptor for his spinners. He replies fast to emails and seems to be right on top of it. Now to just decide what to do. Go with Knockoff Cobras = Rev...

Rev O.E. replica Cobra 340 wheels

Looking at the Cobra III wheels from Halibrand they would be really nice if ANYONE had them. It looks like they are either not produced any more or just no one has them. They are not even listed as available on the Halibrand web site and Steeda use to sell them but does not list them any more...

Rev O.E. replica Cobra 340 wheels

Good info guys. I now live in Atlanta, GA so they may hold up fine. I lived in North Dakota for many years and they would not have liked that much :) I am in limbo right now. Thanks for the info! Eric

Rev O.E. replica Cobra 340 wheels

ContentPage Any of you that have these or know people that may have them care to comment on the quality and how you like them? I am looking at a set of 20" - 8.5" in front and 10" in back. Price is right and I really like that look. I am a bit concerned about quality when mounted on a...

    American Racing Redlines

wheels That BRS kit looks like it would work out well. Seems no one really knows for sure though. I emailed the guy at BRS and will post the response. I also saw Shelby has the new CS-40 wheels that have a spinner and are similar but it does not look like they will be offered in anthracite...

New old guy here, basic Qs

There are some decent deals out there if you look long enough. I purchased a 06 GT Prem 5speed with 6,800 miles on it about 4 months ago. It has the My Color dash, shaker 500, and the 18" polished bullet wheels. Color is Titanium with Black leather. It has about 1/2 dozen small rock chips...

    Hurst Shifter Installed!

wow, I took out my Hurst stamped and installed the Hurst billet in about 30 min yesterday.. The billet one is even easier as it slips in from the bottom no problem. They seem to work about the same but the billet one looks damn nice :) too bad you can not see it in the car but it is just the...

    American Racing Redlines

Ok after searching for a few days I am going to post this question: I am looking to see if anyone has installed a set of 3 bar Knockoffs (spinners if you like that better) on the American Racing Redline wheels? I emailed American Racing and they just said they have none available. Anyone...

Hurst S/T not sure how I like it..

Well I think I may be ordinging a MGW to give it a try. Any places to order it to save a few $ ? I see it on the MGW site but $295 plus $65 for a nice shift knob setup seems a bit steep. I agree with so many on the classic feel and function of the Hurst I have now. My position though is...

Hurst S/T not sure how I like it..

I agree on the feel I guess. My dad has a 68 fastback and the 4sp top loader does feel very similar. The throw on the top loader in the 68 feels like you are driving a grain truck though. I had a pro 5.0 in my 96 cobra and it just seemed smoother. The Hurst just seems a bit rougher than...

    Thumper's Mustang: Stage Two

Wow very hot. Is that grill painted? I have a Tungsten and think the black may be too much but I like that grill look. I would like to find a grill similar the the Cervini's. I have been wanting to do the full Cervini kit but the Roush parts are also very nice. I just don't like the fake...

Hurst S/T not sure how I like it..

First thanks to all of you regular posters here. This forum is great and you guys and post regular help so many of us out. I have been reading for weeks now. I finally purchased a 06 tungsten GT with 7K on it and am working though mods right now. I put in a Hurst shifter a few weeks ago...

    Opinion on exterior mods

I am in the same position trying to decide what to do with my 06 tungsten GT. I like the roush stuff but I just can not put a scoop on the hood if it is just sitting there. If the scoop did anything I could see it but otherwise I say leave it. Right now I am looking at doing the Shelby...

    Buying an '06 GT

I purchased a 2006 Tungsten 5speed GT in perfect shape with 7K miles on it just a few weeks ago here in ATL. Purchase price was $19K plus tax if that helps out at all. It has nice chrome 18" factory wheels on it also.
