    spec-d tuning headlights?

Anyone use this brand of headlights before? I was interested in acquiring a set, but am reluctant. I ordered a smoked set of headlights and matching fogs from American Muscle a few monts ago, but send them back. Very disappointing quality, broken parts in the box not to mention the sealing...

    315/35/17 with 17x10.5 on 95 GT??

I am considering running some 315/35/17 rubber with 17x10.5 wheels on my 95 GT. Currently I run some 275/40/17's on the back. However, glancing at the back, it looks like there might be some clearance issue with my tailpipes on with teh flowmaster catback. Has anyone run into rubbing...

TPS adjustment and TB air screw on 95 GT?

Yes, I've read it many times and actually have the full copy of the instructions you posted. I won't worry about the TPS setting. How many turns out is the air bleed screw effective before you should adjust throttle stop?

TPS adjustment and TB air screw on 95 GT?

Now that you mention it, I don't remember there being any slotted holes on the TPS sensor other than the limited play there would be around the screws holding it onto the TB.....

TPS adjustment and TB air screw on 95 GT?

I have an aftermarket 65mm Ford Racing throttle body and stock 70 mm MAF. Didn't bother changing it since it was recommended by many people that the algorithms with the stock MAF are the best you can get and the 70 MM flows more than enough for stock or even modified 302's. How many turns is...

TPS adjustment and TB air screw on 95 GT?

I was checking my TPS today and found it was around 1.03 volts ( going to verify and compare with a second volt meter to be sure). Was going to adjust the TPS sensor, but I can't even get to the screws with the IAC valve in place on the the throttle body. I don't want to damage the screws by...

Changing speedo drive gear from 8 to 7 tooth?

However, there is one other benefit from just using the speedcal and calling it a day. If you are to ever change gearing deeper/lower in the future again, its as simple as just changing dip switches. IF you got up to 4.10/4.30, they you are changing the drive gear again......not to mention...

Changing speedo drive gear from 8 to 7 tooth?

Not worried about the competent mechanic......justifying options of cost. Option 1 - Speedcal is about $100 and not very difficult to install. Option 2 - $25 - Yellow 7-tooth drive gear/21 tooth red driven requires tail end of transmission to be removed...which according to other things...

Changing speedo drive gear from 8 to 7 tooth?

Was considering a gear change so was also considering a kit to calibrate the speedo correctly. Problem is, can this gear swap be done with the transmission in the car? Level of difficulty?? Job better left for tranny shop??? 83-95 Mustang Speedometer Gear Kit For T5 With 3.73 Rear Gears by...

For those of you that switched from 3.55 to 3.73 -- Was it worth it?

Now I've had a recommendation to go to 4.10s instead of 3.73s! Cripes, I'm so confused at this point. I like the 3.55s for the freeway....very comfortable...but do seem on the mild side for the street. Car still has great accelleration, but a guy is always searching for more. I was...

    Rear upper control arms...

So what if you are not intending on installing a panhard bar from Maximum Motorsports? They don't mention anything about installing them if not using a panhard bar? Are the rear upper control arms hard to install?

    Rear upper control arms...

Thanks for the help. I`ll pass and look into the stiffer bushings as per Maximum motorsports.

    Rear upper control arms...

Have a chance to pickup some Edelbrock rear upper control arms for a decent price. Was wondering if they are a good improvment over stock. How do you go about setting them up properly?

For those of you that switched from 3.55 to 3.73 -- Was it worth it?

Driving to work this morning, my tach showed: 60 MPH - 2000 RPM on the nose 75 MPH - 2250 RPM 80 MPH - 2500 RPM on the nose. This is with 3.55s and a 25.7" tall tire (275/40/17). The car seems very comfortable cruising at 70-75 MPH around 2200-2300 RPM. What were your RPM on the...

For those of you that switched from 3.55 to 3.73 -- Was it worth it?

Is 1st gear really that short? At 20 mph, you'd be shifting out of 1st @ 3100 RPM with 3.55s....with 3.73, you are shifting 3250 at the same speed. 150 RPM is hard to even notice on the tach? I guess if your car revs up very quickly, then yes, 1st gear will seem really short and deeper...

For those of you that switched from 3.55 to 3.73 -- Was it worth it?

I think you just lost me with that analogy. If you are meaning the ratio split between them is only .18 of a turn difference....or basically a 1/4 rotation of the rear tire, then I understand. With that being said, I shouldn't bother now that I already have the 3.55's in there. If I was...
