Ok, so here is my REAL questions for you experts....will replacing diff fluid with a synthetic improve performance or do anything benefitial to you system versus just keeping the same fluid in there that was put when a gear swap was done years ago.?

I was going to use Mobil-1 synthetic diff fluid....do I still have to add friction modifier?? Many people told me I don't with the mobil 1.

It sounds like mixing them is a good idea to get the viscosity grade i'm looking for. I am pretty sure you can mix those two from what I have heard. Does running a thinner oil really help you pick up some power with the thinner viscosity?

I am about to re-wire a digital water temp gauge which specifically say to put the ground wire to the (-) negative battery terminal for best results (best ground). Is this a good thing to do or is there a safe/better ground location for the wire to go to?

I was originally going to go with the Mac Cat-Back system for my 91 LX 5.0 but found out that there might be problems with fitment around wide tires (15x10 Welds (6.5" bs) w/275 nitto dr's). So now I am looking for a 2.5" cat back system that will fit what i'm running. Any suggestions?

Darn, that's what I don't want to happen to me...I don't want to ge the catback to find out there will always be rubbing problems and I can't use the catback! AHhh!
