    Transmission Leak 1970 Mach I

    leak after rebuilding my '73 cleaveland with the TFX, I had to replace both the tail and input seals... my guess it's an input if its coming from the bell-housing. If you're comfortable doing it... its pretty simple to do... just make sure you clean up good and keep it clean going in...

    351C-2V Camshaft help.

    the comp 268 is a good choice... how much lift will u run? If I remember correctly I ran an elderbrock 268 with .5 lift in my '73 and it ran great with a nice lope at idle have fun

    351C 2v build up

    I did the same thing to a 73. But I would go with a 650 carb... will do better on the top end... and if you can find a good set of 4v heads, do it!!!! You'll be much happier

    351C carb

    I put a 650 elderbrock on my 73C, was much easier to tune than the Holley... ran better at idle with the cam I had. So other things maybe to consider

    sunroof seal

    the guy who had my coupe before said the sunroof leaked, so he sealed it up with a bunch of gray ****. I finally had time to strip it out and take a look today. actually not to bad, just need to get all the crap he put in there out. But I will need new seals for the glass as well as it looks...

    Check out the fuel lines... any rubber ones that are "rotted" or old and worn? Then check fuel pressure and pump

    Exhaust manifolds 351c

    They will fit both 2v and 4v heads... however will not perform on the 2v... it would be a waste. Had them and tried them on a '73 cleaveland that I had...no dice... thats y the give them different designations

    Car has not power after battery??

    I had 74 thru 80's, had that problem a couple times... Ballast resistor. Don't know if an 89 has one tho... anyone???

    1980 2.3 non-turbo charging

    Ah ha, yes it does. I had the alternator checked, it was ok. When I bought the car the guy I bought it from said he had recently replaced the regulator. I'll try that next. Thanks

    I have a non-turbo 80 that has a 2 wire connection to the alternator. Parts store says I should have a 3rd wire. I had 79-80 2.3's when I was younger and don't remember any more than a 2 wire hook-up. Alternator tests as good, but won't start or run w/o a jump or boost. It will also die at...
