    So if i wanted to replace with another clutch fan which is betteR? the plastic or metal? They must have switched for a reason? And it is not a flex fan just the stock 85 one

    Well to start my cars fan is metal and has a metal something which i always assumed was the "clutch"but i have been looking at some post and it looks like some of the newer aero nose cars had plastic fans? Either way i dont see where there cold be silicone in my fan....looks like more research...

    Do they cool well running around town and on the highway? If in stop and go traffic while its hot outside my temp will start to creep up on me. I just have a stock cooling system on my car. I DO NOT want to go electric due to cost and difficulty... Thanks for any input Dustin

    some pics of my misfortune It's an older hose and i dont think there is any risk of it collapsing. What could cause them to collapse? suction on them?

    wish i knew..i must of done something wrong 1.5 years ago when i replaced the pump...only thing is that if it was my bad i dont think it would of taken this long

    Mine got binded up in the waterpump and caused the pump to fail. DO i need to buy a new one or will my car work just fine without it?

    The plug in question is the #4 plug. I have an edelbrock performer intake. The exhaust doesnt really have a color that i have noticed. and no there is little to no oil consumption. Also, engine seems to rev and idle fine. It does have an exhaust leak though that is either near the #4...
