Mine did something simila. Turned out it was a vacuum leak in the gas tank itself. The gasket on the top Plate of the tank was broken.

Trying to swap fuel pumps in my 01 and it kicked my check fuel cap light on and it also turned my service engine soon light on. Any tips on swapping fuel pumps this kicked my ass on my last attempt. Thanks guys.

I think I'll probably go with n8dogs suggestion and go with the cobra hood.

It's an 01 with a Tork tech intercooled mp112 with stock internals #42 injectors 255 lPh pump and a 90 mm maf. I suppose I should Put that at the bottom of every post.

It's an o1 and I can't remember if it has the romeo or Windsor. When I placed the order the guy told me a way to find out which one it is but I can't remember. I think 11 valve cover bolts mean it is a Romeo or somtyeing

Yes I got the ic kit. If I get all of other parts before the s/c kit gets here will I be able to install them and still be able to drive my car without the s/c?
