    89 Harness in 86 GT

    So Ive been under the impression that i could use an engine harness out of an 89 to convert my 86 to mass air. I was talking about this with the guys from MPS and they said it wouldnt work. Anybody done this? Will it work or not?

    Is used the way to go..?

    I found a deal on a 77mm Pro-M Mass air meter from a guy on craigslist. He's asking 125, i was gonna offer 100. My question is, do MAF's normally go bad or tear up? Or am I getting a good deal here? Let me know what you guys think..

    Progress Thread 86 gt progress....finally!

    So i finally made some progress on my 86. It took a new fuel tank,190 lph pump,fuel sending unit, 1 new pressure line, new vapor line, and a little bit of gas and it runs! Now comes the fun part. Taking that old junkyard motor out and putting a real, built 306 where it belongs.

    86 owners..

    My 86 Gt has sat for around 4 years without being started. I dropped the tank and have replaced the whole pump assembly, filler neck grommet, and the tank itself. I cant find a fuel level sending unit to replace mine that isnt working... Anybody else replaced their sending unit ? whats your story?
