I recently got an 85 coupe that was swapped from 4cyl to 5.0. Im trying to get the tach to work. The red wire with green stripe is going to the positive on the coil and the green with white dots is going to the negative. Still doesn’t work. How do I wire the tach up?

I have a 1978 King cobra and I'm looking to increase performance. I want to get rid of all of the emissions stuff like the smog pump and stuff like that. What all is there to remove and how do I remove it??

Okay so I'm looking for ways to increase performance in my 1978 King Cobra. I'm looking at a power plus intake paired with a holley 600cfm carburetor that I found on craigslist. Is the conversion as easy as taking the old off and putting the new on?? Anyone have a how-to??

I am buying a 1978 King Cobra. Floors are great, rear quarters are great. Doors have some surface rust. Carb is clogged but starts when you pour gas in the carb. Leak in front transmission seal. Gas tank will probably needed to be changed because of it sitting. No battery. Interior is flawless...
