If you can try a non thermal flasher that might fix it. They are called electronic flasher and flash at a steady rate no matter the load. They are only a few dollars more than thermal. I will have to look in service manual to find where flasher is. Richard

This happens when stopped at a light, can feel it in steering column and hear it from cracked windshield defroster vent. In the old days we would just bump up the idle speed 50. RPM or so. With throttle by wire I am at a loss, almost forgot, v6 with autobox. Thanks for your time Richard.

Problem was one way rubber valve in bottom of cabin filter holder. The bottom half of the filter being wet gave it away. Twigs, leaves, etc. Cleaned it out and got valve freed up with long screw driver.

That makes to much sense. If a certain percentage of folks buy whatever from the dealer I bet the connectors are already in the harness.
