    Almost done with 2004 4.6 swap into a 97 GT, having trouble...

    A few weeks back my brother spun a rod bearing and so we ordered a new 4.6 GT crate engine. Well, we are dropping the new 4.6 in right now, but there is (3) wiring harnesses on the new engine, and only (2) on the old one. wtf.

    Where the two hoses meet, there is a small black connector, right? Yes, that part of the hose was broken (at the connector) when I fixed it, I regained my Floor Vents (Cold and Hot) so my floor vents started working, but my main panel vents still do not work

    Could someone point me in the right direction where to look? I can only find one real vacuum hose, and It was broken, but I fixed it. All the fix did was make my floor vents work. I took 3 pictures of everything. Maybe somebody could help me where to look.... Thanks, Joe

    still cant find the problem. Heller Ford said it would be $600 to have it diagnosed and fixed. Ive also been told that a simple Vacuum hose could be loose. Its getting deep into winter, and I could really use my heater. Does anyone have any more suggestions?
